This service is tailored for clients who are looking for input on a smaller project – e.g. a single room – without the commitment of our full interior design services.
Shaz Morton is the director of Forstaris Studio. Her interiors have featured in British Vogue, The New York Times, The Times, Homes & Antiques, Scotland on Sunday and The Telegraph.
Consultation packages
You’ll have a one-to-one video consultation with Shaz where you can discuss your interiors project. Afterwards, Shaz will follow up with a mood board created just for you.
30 minute discussion

After the discussion, Shaz will spend an hour creating a bespoke moodboard and a voice recording to talk you through her ideas for your space.
60 minute discussion

Cost: £600
Book a 60 minute video consultation with our interior designer Shaz Morton. Afterwards you’ll receive a moodboard and explanatory voice recording.
You’ll send us some information in advance.
You and Shaz will have a 60 minute video call to discuss your project.
After the discussion, Shaz will spend an hour creating a bespoke moodboard and a voice recording to talk you through her ideas for your space.
How it works
Get in touch to make a booking: tell us whether you’d like to book a 30 or 60 minute call and give us some ideas of your availability in the coming weeks.
We’ll arrange a suitable date with you and organise payment details.
After booking, you will receive a calendar invite with your Google Meet link and link to a form to fill out your project details including: address of the property; budget; photos; any ideas or thoughts you might have for the project.
NB We will need your project details at least a week in advance of your call.
During the video consultation you’ll discuss your project with Shaz – do come prepared with questions.
After the consulation, within one week, you’ll receive one moodboard and voice recording by email.
We can organise follow-up calls if you’d like further discussion.
What will you discuss?
In her consultation with you, Shaz can advise on many aspects of interior design including:
Layout and best use of space.
Furniture and interior decorations: discussion and advice on position and placement.
Lighting: how best to illuminate your space, plans, layouts and choice of fittings.
Sourcing: suggested shops, suppliers, craftspeople and artists.
Styling: surfaces, coverings, furniture, soft furnishings, craft and artwork.
Hard finishes: flooring, tiles, panelling and other wall finishes.
Paint colours and schemes.
Windows and doors: choice and selection.
Joinery: including kitchens, bathrooms, workspaces and individual pieces such as built in wardrobes or bookshelves.
